Two Analogy based lessons were delivered during the Block teaching phase.
1)Analogy between a Heart and a Pump
An analogy was used in the lesson 'The Human Heart' for class VII to explain the working of the human heart.
2)Analogy between Poles of a magnet and Poles of the Earth.
An analogy was used in the audited lesson 'Poles of magnets' for class VI to explain the concept of a magnet's poles.
MY EXPERIENCE
The analogy based model was very useful for introducing unfamiliar concepts.The students understood the concept quickly.
