BRAIN BASED ACTIVITIES
A total of six brain based activities were incorporated in my lesson plans.
1)Path Finder
A path finder was incorporated in the Evaluation worksheet for the concept attainment lesson on the topic 'Reversible Changes'.The students enjoyed solving the worksheet together.
2)Word Search
A word search worksheet was also incorporated in the lesson 'Reversible Changes'.The students had to find a given list of words in the grid.
3)Bumper words
A Bumper words worksheet activity was incorporated in the lesson 'Magnetic and Non-magnetic materials'.This activity is similar to the odd one out activity but here the odd one is carried to the next box and the process continues.
4)Jumbled Words
A Jumbled words worksheet was also given to the students to solve during the lesson 'Magnetic and Non-magnetic materials'.
5)Riddle
A riddle worksheet was given for the students to solve in the lesson 'The Human Heart'.
6)Crossword
A Crossword worksheet was incorporated in the lesson 'Finding directions'.
MY EXPERIENCE
The Brain based activities helped me to attain full concentration of the students in the topic being taught but most of all the students enjoyed solving the worksheets.
