The assessment tool used by me was Rubricmaker.I used this tool to assess the models and charts prepared by the students.I also used a rubric to judge the scientific explanations given by the students during the 'corners' activity of finding differences between poles of the earth and poles of a magnet during the lesson 'Fun with magnets'.Then I showed the students how to prepare and use rubrics for assessing their own performance in an assignment or their peer's performance in a group assignment.
